Gillian Tully is a dynamic force in the British film and television industry, known for her multifaceted career as an actress, producer, and entrepreneur. As the CEO and founder of FILM EXPO SOUTH, Gillian has built a powerful platform that champions emerging talent and connects independent filmmakers with the industry across the UK and beyond.
With a background in performance and a passion for storytelling, Gillian has appeared in a range of screen and stage productions, earning acclaim for her authenticity, versatility, and commitment to craft. Her transition into producing has seen her take on a variety of ambitious projects, where she brings a strong creative vision and a hands-on approach to every production.
Under her leadership, FILM EXPO SOUTH has grown, incorporating Hampshire Film Office and the Dorset Film Office, helping the industry for networking, education, and collaboration—bridging gaps between creatives, production professionals, and distribution networks. Gillian’s dedication to empowering voices in film, especially women in the industry, has made her a respected advocate for greater representation and opportunity within the arts.

Peter
Operations Director
After 10 years of travelling the world with Racal Electronics as a design engineer in military radio communications, Peter then went on to join IBM in the mid 80’s as their Desktop Publishing Manager where he was at the fore front of the personal computer revolution.,
He then went on to set up his own ITC company specialising in network planning, design, implementation and support for many companies covering the legal, film, pharmacy and aviation refuelling industries. With offices based in Poland Street WC1, it is no surprise his clients included many well-known film and TV companies such as Comic Strip, Spitting Image, BFTPA, and the Media Show.
More recently, he helped set up the communications and cashless systems for the 2012 London Olympics, also many town centre BID Systems and membership platforms for numerous football and rugby clubs.
As well as being involved with the Dorset Film Office in the role of Operations Director, due to his vast knowledge in ITC, Peter is an excellent Chef and has now setup his own mobile catering company: On-set Catering – specialising in high quality food for low budget movies.
Kristy Young
Social Media, PR & Marketing Specialist
Kristy Young is a dynamic Social Media, PR, and Marketing Specialist at Film Expo South, where she brings a wealth of experience in amplifying the reach and impact of creative projects across the film and theatre industries. Known for her strategic approach and creative flair, Kristy has played a pivotal role in promoting a diverse range of content, from short films and feature-length propductions to film competitions and theatrical performances.
With a deep understanding of audience engagement and digital trends, Kristy crafts tailored campaigns that connect projects with their ideal audiences—building buzz, driving ticket sales, and elevating brand visibility across multiple platforms. Her work has contributed to the success of numerous independent productions and cultural events, making her a valued collaborator among filmmakers, producers, and theatre companies alike.
